E. Illinois Shoots Themselves in the Dick, Arkansas Wins the Game

Arkansas won their first game of the 2018/19 season with a 55-20 beatdown of Eastern Illinois. The Panthers really made it easy on the hogs, missing two field goals and an extra point attempt early in the game, as well as losing four fumbles.

Despite their early miscues, quarterback Chad Kelley couldn't really get the offense going. The sophomore was replaced by Ty Storey for the second quarter, and the hogs got the new spread offense going in earnest. Storey had three passing touchdown in the second quarter and the offense never looked back.
