Is Steamboat Back?!

If there was anything good that happened during yesterdays game, it's that Cole Kelley, AKA the Louisiana Steamboat, decided that it was once again Steamboat Time.

Ty Storey got the start against the Colorado State Rams, but he did very little with it. Storey went 5-13 with two interceptions and got sacked a few times. That is not a good stat line.

When Cole Kelley came into the game, the Steamboat decided to shovel some coal on the fire. After some run plays with Devwah Whaley, and a Steamboat Sneak from Kelley to get the first down, Kelley first pass of the game was a touchdown. The Steamboat heaved one to the corner of the endzone where LaMichael Pettway came down with it. (27 seconds into the video.)

His next pass of the game was hardly a pass, but the Steamboat made sure it was a Touchdown. A quick and short shovel pass to T.J. Hammonds went 64 yards for a touchdown (43 seconds in video). Kelley finished the game with a respectable QBR of 76. Storey finished the game with an absolutely dismal 10.7 QBR.

I'm just going to say it: The Steamboat is back.
