Arkansas Special Teams Unit Continues Purposefully Poor Play Protests Against the NCAA, Offensive an

Even though the offensive and defensive units declined to participate in Purposefully Poor Play Protests against Auburn, the Protest carried out by the special teams unit was enough to sink Arkansas vs Auburn.
As I discussed in the blog post last week, Purposefully Poor Play Protests were used in the games against North Texas and Colorado State, in order to negatively effect their oppressors at the NCAA and their own Athletic Department.
The special teams unit certainly displayed PPP in the Auburn game as well. At the 1:48 mark in the video, the punt team allows Auburn kick blockers through the line, and they block the kick. The punt only goes for about 20 yards. After that, they allow Auburn to get blockers around the ball, pick the ball up, and carry it to about the 9 yard line. That can be evidence of only one thing: Purposefully Poor Play.
At the 2:29 mark in the highlight video there is even more evidence of PPP by the Special Teams. The Arkansas kick team had just scored a field goal, and then kicked it off to Auburn. The special teams unit, realizing that scoring points was actually not the point of a Purposefully Poor Play Protest, decided to immediate sabotage themselves and negate the points they had just scored against Auburn. A few missed tackles that looked a little phony allowed an Auburn touchdown on the Kick Return.
Though some people will look at the offensive and defensive stats for the game and think that they were also demonstrating in PPPP, but I can't reach the same conclusion. The Hogs defense held Auburn to only 91 rushing yards and 134 passings yards; The Razorback offense had as many first downs as Auburn and more total yards. These statistics are evidence of trying.
Which is cool, even though I'm a little disappointed. I was really hoping that the PPPProtests would be continuing a little longer and stronger. I stand in solidarity with the Special teams unit.
