Not Dumb Flashback: Santos Ramirez Puts Ole Miss' Chad Kelly in His Place

Santos Ramirez is one of my favorite Razorbacks. He forces fumbles, he's a hawk to the ball, and he is a frequent shit talker. All of these are good reasons to like Santos Ramirez. But Santos Ramirez will forever be my hero for the time he put dumb ass Chad Kelly in his stupid place. Let me give you the full context.

Kelly, the week before his Ole Miss Rebels were set to take on Arkansas in 2016, did this incredibly dumb shit:

He got involved in a brawl at a High School football game! This event occurred in 2016, when Kelly was a 22 year old man! A twenty-two year old MAN brawling with TEENAGERS!

This is the same Chad Kelly who was dismissed from Clemson in April of 2014 for "conduct detrimental to the team." This is also the same Chad Kelly who, eight months later, was arrested for brawling with bouncers outside of a Buffalo, NY nightclub, threatening to return to the club with an AK-47.

The next week after the high school brawl, which also happened in Buffalo, NY because of course it did, Ole Miss played Arkansas. Down by four, Kelly and Ole Miss had a chance to win it with 2:20 seconds left to play.

Santos Ramirez, defensive back for Arkansas, was fucking determined not to let fucking dumb ass Chad Kelly beat him. Arkansas had forced a critical 4th and 16. Kelly dropped back to pass under pressure, and without any receivers open he was forced to try to scramble for the first down. It looked as though Kelly was going to get the 1st down, but Ramirez came out of nowhere to absolutely destroy Kelly:

Ramirez forced Kelly to fumble the ball out of bounds and left Kelly injured after the play.

It was so satisfying! If anyone deserves to get their shit wrecked by Santos Ramirez its Chad fucking Kelly.

Ramirez has a history of changing the game against Ole Miss. Last year he forced a fumble when the Hogs were down 31-7 to Ole Miss. The Hogs would score on the ensuing drive and then compete the comeback, winning 38-37. Here's to hoping that Ramirez turns in another game changing performance this Saturday, when the Hogs Play Ole Miss in Little Rock.
